What is TX Ransomware?
TX encrypts all file data, making them unusable. The infected files are appended with the attacker’s email address and extension. For example, a file named “download.jpg” will be renamed to “download.jpg.TXRansom”, and “sales.xlsx” will be renamed to “sales.xlsx.TXRansom”. Once this attack process is complete, a ransom note titled “HELP_DECRYPT_YOUR_FILES.txt” is created in all directories containing files.
