What is Rizzler ransomware?
Rizzler is a Chaos family worm that encrypts all file data, making it inaccessible. The infected files are appended with the attacker’s email address and extension. For example, a file named “photo.jpg” will be changed to “photo.jpg.rizz”, and “sales.xlsx” will be changed to “sales.xlsx.rizz”. Once this attack process is complete, a ransom note titled “README.txt” is created in all directories containing files.
