What is Lynx ransomware?
Lynx encrypts all file data using a combination of AES+RSA algorithms, making it inaccessible. It asks you to contact the Tor site to retrieve the encrypted files. The infected files will have the extension ".Lynx" added to them. For example, a file named "photo.jpg" will be changed to "photo.jpg.Lynx", and "sales.xlsx" will be changed to "sales.xlsx.Lynx." Once this attack process is complete, a ransom note titled "README.txt" will be created in all directories containing files.
