LostTrust ransomware is distributed through infected email attachments, torrent sites, and malicious advertisements.
This ransomware encrypts data and demands compensation (Bitcoin, etc.) for decryption.
All user data (documents, photos, Excel, video, music, etc.) is encrypted using an encryption algorithm. It then adds an encrypted extension to all files, making them unusable. 
Make the original file unusable by changing the file name and extension to filename.extension.losttrustencoded. 
For example, an image file titled "digital.jpg" will be changed to "digital.jpg.losttrustencoded" An Excel file called "info.xlsx" is "info.xlsx.losttrustencoded" You can see it changing into something like
