Payola What is ransomware?
This ransomware discovered by anti-ransomware Whitedefender while investigating cyber security threats is [Payola Ransomware].
Payola uses advanced encryption algorithms to infect users' files and randomly changes the extension of the file data name to 5 strings. For example, an image file titled “digital.jpg” will be changed to “digital.jpg.5 random digits”. You can see that the Excel file called "info.xlsx" changes to "info.xlsx.5 random digits".
The desktop will be changed and a ransom note will also be created.
