BTC ransomware encrypts all of a user files to prevent them from being used, then creates a "#FILE ENCRYPTED.txt" ransom note file and encourages users to view it in all areas.
This malicious ransomware encrypts files on the infected device and adds [file name.extension.EMAIL=[antitrees2000@keemail.me]ID=[unique ID].BTC] to the file name.
This BTC ransomware does not change the user desktop.
The ransom note includes a message that this PC has been infected with ransomware and all files have been encrypted, and that they can be restored using the private key.
