What is SURTR ransomware?
Surtr ransomware encrypts document files on your PC as .[JohnD3crypt@gmail.com].SURT.
The ransom note is the SURTR_README.txt / SURTR_README.hta file, and a ransom note file is created for each encrypted folder.
For example, a photo named "2022news.jpeg" will change the extension of all files to 2022news.jpeg.[JohnD3crypt@gmail.com].SURT.
A ransom note is a note containing a requirement to follow these instructions.
